Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)

Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) is an advanced attribution methodology that assigns fractional credit to every marketing touchpoint along the consumer journey, rather than giving all credit to a single interaction (e.g., last-click). MTA uses statistical models to determine the relative contribution of each channel, campaign, and creative. However, MTA faces growing challenges from privacy regulations and cookie deprecation, leading many advertisers to adopt Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing.
